Candice Rose, M. Psych. & Certified Life Coach

If you've found yourself here, chances are you're looking for change and seeking a deeper, more meaningful experience of life. Perfect, because I'm a therapeutic life coach focused on helping others find just that.

But, I'll tell you a secret. I wasn't always someone you should have taken advice from. I've spent more years than I care to count feeling lost, lonely and frustrated. So, in other words, I get it.

I was called to this work and the process of getting here has been a wild ride.

I skated out of my, let's just call it, "complicated" childhood with severe depression, anxiety, zero self-esteem, little to no life skills, and a boatload of trauma. But I was determined to make something far better out of my life.

And I did. But first I made terrible choices, suffered from PTSD-like symptoms, and operated with crippling self-doubt.

Somehow I put myself through college, got into therapy, and became a fixture in every personal development course I could find. I went on to formally study integrative wellness coaching as well as a graduate studies in psychology. Eventually, I created the career I wanted, had a beautiful family, found peace and healing, and discovered a tribe of like-minded friends.

When I look at my life now compared to a few decades ago, the difference is truly astounding. I've often wondered how I was so fortunate to overcome my challenges.

Part of that answer is the many gifted teachers, mentors, coaches and therapist I've had along the way. I've collected their wisdom like shiny treasures.

When I was 15, Yetta, a mentor, came into my life. Independant, whip-smart, self-actualized, and nurturing. In a word: badass. Her presence was enough to set off an "ah-ha!" light bulb in my young mind.

"Darling, she said, one day you will look back at this pain and realize it was small potatoes. Your life is so much bigger than you can imagine right now."

And you know what? She was right. If I could be a "Yetta" to even one more person or help facilitate that experience for others, then I would have paid my blessings forward.

I offer 1-1 therapeutic, integrative coaching in person in Clayton, Georgia, Highlands, NC or online. Set up a call with me to learn more!
