Candice Rose, M. Psych. & Certified Life Coach
Hello!
I'm a certified coach and M. Psych.('26) offering 1-1 therapeutic coaching for adults and teens in person in Clayton, Georgia, Highlands, NC, or online.
My passion and purpose in life is to help others heal, grow, and thrive.
I've spent decades studying how to do just that for myself, and now I have a wealth of knowledge and a deep intuition to draw from.
I get what you are going through because I've been there myself.
I skated out of my, let's just call it, "complicated" childhood with severe depression, anxiety, zero self-esteem, little to no life skills, and a boatload of trauma. But I was determined to make something far better out of my life.
And I did. But first, I made terrible choices, suffered from PTSD-like symptoms, and operated with crippling self-doubt.

Somehow, I put myself through college, got into therapy, and became a fixture in every personal development course I could find. I formally studied integrative wellness coaching and graduate studies in psychology. Eventually, I created the career I wanted, had a beautiful family, found peace and healing, and discovered a tribe of like-minded friends.

When I look at my life now compared to a few decades ago, the difference is truly astounding. I've often wondered how I was so fortunate to overcome my challenges.

Part of that answer is the many gifted teachers, mentors, coaches, and therapists I've had along the way. I've collected their wisdom like shiny treasures.
When I was 15, Yetta, a mentor, came into my life. Independant, whip-smart, self-actualized, and nurturing. In a word: badass. Her presence set off an "ah-ha!" light bulb in my young mind.
"Darling, she said, one day you will look back at this pain and realize it was small potatoes. Your life is so much bigger than you can imagine right now."

And you know what? She was right. If I could be a "Yetta" to even one more person or help facilitate that experience for others, then I would have paid my blessings forward.

The greatest journey you'll ever go on is home-- to yourself. So let's get started.
With Gratitude,
Candice
